Here is the perfect shawl to throw over your shoulders on a chilly summer night! A bit unlogically, the name "Masai Shawl" arose when the original shawl was photographed on a beautifully Masai-looking woman. Whatever named, this is a shawl which deserves a second colour scheme - here it is - hope you love it!
Needles:	3.5mm needles, circular needles 40cm, 60cm, 120cm
Tension:	28sts x 25rows = 10 x 10cm
Shetland wool The kit consists of a group of background colours (beige tones) and a group of pattern colours for flowers (warm reds/pink). Black and green colours are included for embroidery of inside flowers and stalks. Large chart included. The shawl is knit fair-isle in the round and steeked (cut open). You knit only with 2 colours at a time. The 2 side borders are also knitted in the round and steeked. For this we recommend a 120 cm circular needle. For the experienced knitter. The shawl is knitted from a large chart and the size is fixed.
